SkyCam has taken advantage of the rapid increases in both model helicopter and camera technology it is now possible to lift cameras that can take pictures of a resolution previously unseen. Nowadays a 10 Mega Pixel camera can be lifted and Sky Cam operate with a 10 Mega Pixel Canon which allows some stunning photography to be achieved.
The helicopter is one of the largest model RC Helicopters available with a gasoline powered spark plug engine as opposed to the more standard glow plug engine. This gives it a smoother power response and an ability to lift heavier loads for longer periods without overheating the engine. Our control system is a top quality JR McGregor Heli radio. These radio systems are world renowned for their quality and reliability.
